Turn Your Regular Shampoo Into a Homemade Herbal Shampoo - Hair Care products have become an integral part of our lives. If we do not have one, we feel incomplete and now we have so huge a range to choose our products from that we get confused what to use. Shampoo is the basic need to clean the scalp. Ultimately, almost every person on Earth has used all the products which are within their budget for all kinds of hair problems like hair loss to avoiding scalp infections. But, hardly does any shampoo work wonders the way we want. And, if they do, after regular usage, our hair gets immune and the products stops working in 'oh-so-marvelous' ways.Every one must have read about all the hype today that you should not use products having 'this-and-this'. Sodium Laureth Sulphate tops the list and unfortunately, it is in almost every shampoo. And, yes, the excessive chemicals used to create the shampoo products are actually very harmful for our hair. The chemicals may cause anything from hair loss to scalp infections. And, they create build up on our hair too which starts weighing our hair down after certain period of time. Keeping all these in mind, I always try to find a herbal shampoo. But, the sad part is that even though it is mentioned to be a herbal shampoo, that does not lessen the possibilities of chemical usage in them too. So, it is always better that we make herbal shampoos at our home. Many people would advise you to dilute your shampoo and then, apply on your hair. This would decrease the harmful effects of the chemicals. Now, you can use herbal water to dilute your shampoo. I have found out a way to create a herbal water at home without much of a mess and using only the most widely available natural ingredients. Some of the ingredients are Indian Gooseberry (amla), fenugreek leaves and seeds (methi), curry leaves, sage leaves (tulsi), hibiscus flowers and leaves. They are all boiled in water and stored. Whenever you use your shampoo, take the desired amount in a bowl and dilute it with a bit of the herbal water. The herbal water is laden with ingredients good for our hair. So, the usage of this method will improve the health of the hair. The herbal water can prevent hair loss due to the ingredient 'fenugreek' and promote hair growth due to the presence of 'Indian Gooseberry'. The herbal water conditions our hair and improves its health because of 'Hibiscus'. So, go ahead and try it and see the results.Word of Caution: Do not use any active ingredient in it as they have short shelf life and they may spoil your shampoo too.
