Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Wednesday showed that at 58 he is still in great physical fit, as he took to the tatami (judo mat) during a visit to a new sports centre in his hometown of Saint Petersburg.
Putin presented an instructional judo DVD that bears his name and shows him throwing an opponent to the mat to journalists and guests in Moscow. This is the latest effort to boost his public image.
