No.3 and 4 are my favorites.....but No. 4 is the one I wud choose as best. I like the touch of green and the sky is superb. Horizon Line is straight on. The pic is sharp all around, but what really catches me when I first viewed the picture is the "bolt" in the fence.

My first term on H1 expired on June 2002. I revalidated it and the second term also got expired as of June 2004. Since I was in US only for 3 years on that H1, is it possible to revalidate it again now, even I'm not working for company A now? Company A can file for revalidation for recapturing the remaining time on H1 but you may to work with them once the H1B's gets approved..

Department of State Visa Office provided explanation of its monthly determination of employment preference cut-of dates and data used in determining employment based cut-off dates for December 2010.
Each month, the State Department subdivides the annual preference and foreign state limitations specified by the Immigration and Nationality Act into monthly allotments based on totals of documentarily qualified Immigrant Visa applicants reported at consular posts and Immigration Offices, grouped by foreign state chargeability, preference category, and priority date.
If there are sufficient numbers in a category to satisfy all reported documentarily qualified demand, the category is considered "Current." For example: If the monthly allocation target is 3,000 and there is only demand for 1,000, the category will be "Current�. Whenever the total of documentarily qualified applicants in a category exceeds the supply of numbers available for the particular month, the category is "oversubscribed" and a visa availability cut-off date is established. The cut-off date is the priority date of the first documentarily qualified applicant who could not be accommodated for a visa number.
For example: If the monthly target is 3,000 and there is demand for 8,000 applicants, then it would be necessary to establish a cut-off date so that only 3,000 numbers would be allocated. In this case, the cut-off would be the priority date of the 3,001st applicant.

Welcome to IV Immiram..
Hi all,
I know the Forums are still pretty active but is the IV Organisation itself still active?
I came across the IV website yesterday and was really stuck by the mission statement of the Organisation. I did not think twice - went ahead and got registered and made one time donation. I even voted for one of the polls for Sep 18 rally and making plans to visit DC but only to realise today that it was really old one :) Also when I was reviewing the forums today I realised that most of the activities seem to be around years 2006-2007 - like Fundraising Campaign or Media News ,etc.
Appreciate anyones response to let me know if IC is still active. Please do not direct any personal attacks. I did not need to explore GC info so far since my GC was started only during March of 2010 & got my Lc approved only yesterday.
If the organisation is still active, I am looking forward to joing the CT chapter. Thanks!

Glad to be of help. But I think the huge credit goes to one and all of the core team who picked up the smallest hint and followed up to such an extent. Now that we are on WP, we should also try for articles in Wallstreet Journal and NY Times among many others. Please do let us know if I can be of any help.

I thought it was kind of inherent in a programming competition. If he would allow external libraries, the contests could become jigsaw puzzle contests where the person who could find the best open source libraries, and piece them together properly could beat someone who made something completely from scratch.
Even if you throw that argument aside, you are still dealing with external input. The correlation with sound makes your entry really cool, but, what then would prevent me from doing a n-body simulation in C on a server farm, rendering a video, reading that data into flash, and plotting each pixel as a circle? lol.
The original constitution is the base of our government, but the amendments are critical too :D
ps: can you post your code? and btw... i like what you did with your swarming code :)

Could someone please explain what are the implication of taking big promotion (example: Consultant to Manager) when
1. Labor is pending
2. Labor is clear; but I-140 pending
3. I-140 clear; but I-485 pending for less than 6 months

Hi Gurus,
My labor was approved in July'07 and I-140/485 were applied under EB2 category in Aug'07.
My qualification : Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering and B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
I got the below RFE from CIS :
The submitted ETA 9089 states the preferred position of Computer systems analyst requires a Masters degree in Engineering or related field.
Please submit a new educational evaluation based solely on the beneficiary's education when compared to a degree related to the computer indstry.
An acceptable evaluation must:
1) Consider formal education only, not practical training experience
2) did the applicant complete the U.S equivalant of high school before entering college
3) Provide detailed explanation of material evaluated
4) briefly state the qualifications and experience of the evaluator providing the opinion
The education evaluation I have submitted with I-140 includes my work experience. Please suggest me your ideas/experiences in getting the best education evaluation for my I-140 approval.

I think they are probing link of your Civil Engineering and Computer Analyst job. They are looking for specific computer oriented language courses that show you have formal education in that and that should corraborate your work experience letters. Its well known that getting EB2 for computer analyst etc oriented jobs is getting difficult. They are now questioning more and more as to why analyst oriented jobs should require Masters and #2 they are looking for links between Civil Engineering education and Computer oriented job that you are trying for.!!!

Does frankfurt require transit visa if some one is traveling to India if:
A) While going to india and have H1/H4 valid until 2011, but stamping expired.
B) while coming back to USA if I am planning on coming on Advance Parole ?
How long does the airport visa take ? I traveled through FF in 2005, but I had valid H1 stamp. It is expired since and perhaps wont get stamped before coming back, but use AP.

"Indian, Turkish, Nigerian and Ghanaian airport transit travelers who
- are holding a valid visa or other residence permit for the USA (this includes advance paroles, but not approval notices), Canada or Switzerland and travel to the country which issued that visa or residence permit
or- after a legal stay in the USA (this includes holders of valid approval notices), Canada or Switzerland- return to the country whose citizenship they hold"

My advice to you, don't worry about it. You do not need transit visa.

Yep - she has an MBA from here. So there are no requirements for how long passport needs to be valid for at the time of H1 application? I searched for any rules regarding this on their website but came up empty.

AC21 is applicable only if I-485 is pending, once I-485 approved you don't have to tell any one.
Friends, I would like to know if I change job after I-140 & I-485 approval, do I still need to notify USCIS about AC-21. Also, will it require my new employer to provide a letter of job duties to confirm that the new job is either same or similar to the old one.

AC21 is applicable only if I-485 is pending, once I-485 approved you don't have to tell any one.
